Welcome to our first podcast! This week we are discussing the fantastic jazz standard "My Romance" (Rodgers and Hart). I will demonstrate the song in three stages - melody and chords in the style of a ballad (played rubato), then a basic Freddy Green style 'comp' using guide tones and lastly with embellishments on the written melody.
